Turman 100% hardwood pellets made from kiln dried sawdust from hardwood flooring manufacturing. Turman pellets are a very high quality pellet with very low ash. A ton of pellets will generate 0.32% ash or about 6.4 lbs. per ton with a BTU content of 7907 BTU’s per lb. Squier Lumber is thrilled to have Turman back in our portfolio as we sold them for many years but had to stop selling them due to availability issues. They are still relatively scarce to source because of the limited nature of the raw material so our recommendation is to get them when they are available. They are available at the store at 5 Squier Ave. by the bag for $10.99 ea. Turman’s are well wrapped with 50 – 40 lb. bags on a skid.
